Music Voyager is a TV series produced by the american company Tantra World Wide, which focuses on travelling around the world to find and showcase musical expressions from different countries.
On this season of the series, which is translated to 33 different languajes, Colombia is the only country showcased with 6 episodes dedicated to Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Valledupar, Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Cartagena. In these cities the production asembled newcomers and old school talents who have been showcasing colombian music all around the world for the past decades. Music Voyager also emphazises on the importance of these musicians on the cultural and social development of the colombian culture.
Music Voyager is presented by the world renown musician Jacob Edgar, who gathered a very valuable material, both for audio and video showcasing the art of Fonseca, Sistema Solar, Bomba Estéreo, La 33, Mojarra Eléctrica, Aterciopelados, Superlitio, Grupo Niche, Grupo Bahía, J-Balvin, Joe Arroyo, Érika Muñoz, Totó la Momposina and Los Niños del Vallenato.
The series was taped last year and will be on Colombian TV through Canal 13 (Sundays).
